Not a great experience. I had them come to my home and provide a quote to rewire some circuits. I was good with the price so I put a deposit down so I could be put on their schedule which was about 3 weeks out. I had my subfloor removed so the crawl ...space was easily accessible. My plan was to have the house rewired and then install the subfloor so I could finish before the flooring installers were coming. Well, when the electricians came to my home I walked them through the details again. Everything was fine until I got a call from another man who was not there and told me they couldn't do it for the price they quoted me. I told them I was disappointed to hear that and to provide a new quote so I could make a decision (thinking it wouldn't be a significant difference). I thought the quote would come soon, but the electricians left without notice and the new quote took 2 days to send and it was 3x the price of the original quote! I called to tell them I was not okay with the new price and that I wanted my deposit refunded. They refunded me but never spoke to anyone on their operations side because they couldn't care less. I'm in the construction industry and if you provide a bad quote that's on you; not the customer. So 3 weeks of my time was wasted when I could have gotten a competent electrician to do the work. Now I have the subfloor installed making access more difficult for the rewire because I wasn't going to let Red Royal delay my schedule. This was my first and last experience with them and I would not recommend them. IF you do use them, buy your own materials because they mark them up a lot instead of just their labor.Read More...
